We prayed earlier today. We prayed for you, the work you do and the people you serve. We found opportunity, hope and encouragement in the words that God spoke to Jeremiah. In Jeremiah 12:5a God said, “So, Jeremiah, if you’re worn out in this footrace with men, what makes you think you can race against horses?” Jeremiah was exhausted and couldn’t keep up with his job because he was doing everything in his own power. God was offering a better option – do life in my power and on my terms, and you’ll run faster than horses and experience more of life than you can imagine. Corrie Ten Boom, a holocaust survivor, shared, “If you look at the world, you’ll be distressed. If you look within, you’ll be depressed. As we all get busy with 2026, our prayer team prayed from Acts 6:4. In Acts Chapter 6, the disciples find themselves too busy with the growing church, so they redirect their attention to prioritize prayer.
