Reveille is a signal made with a bugle or horn to get your attention – often to wake you up if you are in the military.
We love praying for you, and today we prayed Numbers 10:1-3 for you and your business. God spoke to Moses: “Make two bugles of hammered silver. Use them to call the congregation together and give marching orders to the camps. When you blow them, the whole community will meet you at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.”
Our prayers centered on community, the work you do (hammering out a bugle – metaphorically. We don’t have a musical instrument maker to pray for yet…) and on reminders to look toward God.
So we prayed for:
- A community to work, live and play with;
- The painful/toilsome work you do to be a blessing for you;
- Many reminders each day that God is eager to talk with you;
- Calls to prayer;
- Church bells;
- Phone alarms;
- Post-it notes that are strategically placed;
- Peace in the Middle East;
- An increase in your awareness of God’s continual presence;
- You to grow closer to God;
- Healthy partnerships in your workplace.
We also noted that God created systems like bugle calls to worship for the Israelites to draw them toward Him, toward each other and toward prayer. What systems do you use that encourage prayer during the workday?
We also prayed against:
- Distractions and meaningless noise;
- Anxiety about future outcomes.
More and more of our partner companies are keeping us updated regularly! Thank you – it is a privilege to pray for you.
Praying with a bugle,
