We had another Dayn-less prayer meeting this morning, but that didn’t stop us from gathering to have a strong time in the Spirit! We continued to lift up our dear brother Dayn as he battles through another surgery to remove lingering infection in his abdomen… pray with us for complete healing and no more pain!

Speaking about healing, the Scripture passage we read and prayed over you and your business today was Acts 3:1-10. In this story we get to see the healing power of Jesus Christ at full display through his apostles. There was a lame man begging at the temple and in need of a miracle. Then “Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!“

The man stood up, walked, and started “leaping and praising God” and people were amazed at the power of God. We prayed that you too experience the power of His healing hand, not just physically, but mentally, relationally, and spiritually! We love to pray blanket prayers over your businesses for healing and protection in your employee base and work environment, but is there anything specific we can lift up right now?

Suffering in this world is always difficult to reconcile in God’s economy. Often times we are left asking why did this happen? Why me? Why now? Although God may not give us the full answer until heaven, what He does give us here and now is His son. We prayed for all who are sick and suffering in the world to identify more deeply with Christ and his suffering on the cross. As one of our prayer warriors shared, these moments are a call to “pick up our cross and join with those who are suffering everywhere.”
